![]() I didn't come in here to do a my truck is better though I'm just seeking info on my new Slash. They are not anyware close to as fast as my truck but who knows they might all be stock. The guys at my track should be dominating me if this is true. ![]() I'm not saying its not capable of racing or its not good but it does need some help. I have 1/3 of the money in the Slash than I do in my SCTE.roller SSC slash is going to cost you around $320.and it's all new.needs no other hop ups.the Losi your going to have $299.and the first time you 's new shock tower time.so it's a wash as far as costs go.and the Slash has zero diff problems.I've been running my SSC for 6 months and have had ZERO problems, nothing broken.and I have brutalized this poor truck.let other racers drive it, tried crazy jumps with it.I can't say the same for the SCTE, first race bent the stock chassis (cased it hard on a triple.that the SSC cleared easy) had problems with the front driveshaft, its hard on batteries (2s) I have to have at least 50c or it's just flat feeling.I know the level that the SSC can perform at.So no arms on the slash, drive shafts, new shock tower with some adjustability, tires, front spindle carriers, center diff, ect in your slash? I don't have any problems with my diffs in my SCTE and run carbon shock towers. The SSC LCG is a monster with a mamba 4 pole 3800kv, I couldn't imagine how fast this thing would be with an RX8 & 4600kv Tekin.at the tracks I run at the Slash is easily an equal to the SCTE.and at the main tracks I run at it's better.the SSC slash is bone stock.other than the chassis.
